HERON Technik GmbH has the tools and long term experience in creating manual hexagonal (cube) meshes. This technology is applied in parallel with automatic and semi-automatic mesh generation.
Why manually created hexagonal cells? In critical flow areas – e.g. small valve gaps and small connecting pipes – this type of mesh provides high accuracy and better stability at a faster solving time.
Although this has the disadvantage of more time consuming mesh generation, this loss is easily recovered due to fast solving time and fewer numerically based problems.
